EPA says water OK at 20 wells in town

Fuelfix.com -- DIMOCK, Pa. — Testing at 20 more water wells in a northeastern Pennsylvania community at the center of a debate over the safety of natural gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale shows no dangerous levels of contamination, according to a report issued Friday by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Teafertwo says- "It appears that these folks have not realized that all they need to do is hire a spin doctor."
============
Not at all teafer, the lesson here is self reliance, something this country was built on but many fail to see today. I PERSONALLY have seen many, many, gain tremendously from being self reliant and NOT counting on the government for their every want.
-----------------------
Teafertwo says- "He can make all of their problems disappear in a puff of smoke".
============
Wrong again, the only thing that can possibly make problems disappear is self responsibility.
----------------------
Lastly teafertwo says- "(Mirrors may also be required ... as well as distribution of large sums of money)"
=============
Nope, wrong again, but expected. Redistribution of wealth never works. As Abraham Lincoln said, you cannot build one man up by tearing down another.

By the way, has teafertwo figured out how Big Oil and Gas really does love you? How teafertwo likely owes their life and the life of someone they love to big oil????

But so many anti-shale folks are hanging their hat on the EPA to put a stop to drilling.

How many times do studies such as these need to be conducted in order to validate the safety of hydraulic fracturing?

It is the height of deceit and arrogance for the global warmists to claim they can control all consequences and ramifications of nature.

.
Fracking has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT on ground water, period! All the EPA tests prove this! Anybody with common sense knows that oil and water doesn't mix and the oil and water have been down their for thousands of years without issue. FRACKING is safe for both water and doesn't cause earthquakes either!

It is the height of deceit and arrogance for these frackers to claim they can control all consequences and ramifications of todays fracking methods.

Some people will never be convinced. For those with problems, the water is being treated and is probably now better than most municipal systems. The company fulfilled their obligation to fix what they apparently broke. What more can you want?

I will blindly follow the EPA.

I will blindly follow the FDA.

I will question nothing pertaining to the Government.

I am a subject not a citizen.

What document gives me the right to question such agency's????

it's not whether the wells are NOW polluted;
it's where the WASTE products are NOW,
and in what direction they are moving.

And from another article posted today "There has been concern about potential earthquakes from a smaller-scale injection of fluids during a process known as hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, which is used to recover gas. But Ellsworth said Friday he is confident that fracking is not responsible for the earthquake trends his study found, based on prior studies."

The anti-shale development folks are running low on scare tactics.

"Importantly, the EPA again did not indicate that those contaminants that were detected bore any relationship to oil and gas development in the Dimock area, particularly given the fact that any contaminants are more likely indicative of naturally-occurring background levels or other unrelated activities,” the statement said."

Global Warming--a swindle, Gasland--a farce, I'm starting to see a pattern here.
